Quarterback : Ken Dorsey , Brock Berlin
The field general is the most important posistion on the entire field, and even though Dorsey has been subpar for the 49ers and browns, he was 38-2 with many members of this team. He would take the "game manager" role with the plethora of talent around him.
Runningback : Clinton Portis, Frank Gore , Willis Mcgahee
No other runningback is hotter right now then Portis, Gore would be the great change of pace back with Mcgahee and James(the backup fullback) sharing the number 3 RB duties
Fullback: Najah Davenport , Edjerian James
Davenport played fullback at the "u" and will play it on this squad. James out of his prime will be the backup.
Widereceiver : Andre Johnson , Reggie Wayne , Santana Moss , Devin Hester , Roscoe parrish, sinorice Moss
Johnson is the prototypical big number one guy. Wayne is a bonafied superstar in his own right but is use to being the number two guy when he played next to Marvin Harrison who was in his prime. Moss would also be very productive in the slot with his dimitive size. Parrish, Moss, and Hester fit the same size mold and would be big play threats every snap in passing situations.
Tightend : Kellen Winslow , Jeremy Shockey, Greg Olsen , Bubba Franks
Winslow despite his run in with staph infection is the cream of the crop who is a dynamic athlete, shockey brings the heart. G-Reg would also be used in the passing game, Lastly Bubba Franks would be used in "jumbo " goal line packages.
O-Line: Bryant Mckinnie , Rashad Butler, Brett Romberg , Vernon Carey, Eric Winston
Mckinnie and Winston are the bookends with Carey who is becoming a stud in south florida as the top guard. The center would be Romberg who has a great raport with Dorsey and anchored the national championship line in 01'. This line is up for the task of keeping Dorsey off his backside.
With all the talent at linebacker and somewhat lack of it on the line the new "U" will be running the 3-4.
D-Line: Baraka atkins, calias cambell , Vince Wilfork, Orien Harris , Damione Lewis, Jerome Mcdougle, Santonio Thomas
Wilfork is an elite nose tackle and would be the quintacential centerpiece to the 3-4. Cambell has the raw talent to start , and I would put Atkins on the other side but keep a constant rotation flowing throughout the game.
OLB : D.J Williams, Rocky Mcintosch , Tavares Gooden , Darrel Mclover
Williams the crazy athlete would get strong side , he has played all three linebacker posistions for the Broncos, so his versatility would be a great asset for the squad. Rocky the hard nosed outside linebacker would man the weak side. T-Good and Mclover would rotate in.
ILB: Ray Lewis , Jon Beason , Jonathan Vilma, Nate webster , Leon Williams
Ray Lewis is a hall of famer , nuff said . Big Beast Jon Beason is a budding superstar and reigning ROY. Vilma is a smart player who has battled several injuries and would have a key role as primary sub. Webster would be the teams special teams ace where he has made his name in the leauge.
CB: Antrelle Rolle, Phillip Bucanon, Kelly Jennings
Rolle who has shifted to saftey in the dessert would be the top corner and a tough one at that on this squad. Buchanon has broken his early "bust" label with his play in Tampa bay. Jenning who shut down Larry Fitzgerald in college would be the nickle.
Saftey: Ed Reed , Kenny Phillips , Brandon Meriweather , Sean Taylor R.I.P
Ed Reed is the best saftey in football and maybe the best player in the NFL period would be the leader of the squad hands down. Phillips who has gained the starting job in the big apple would start on the strong side for the gone but not forgotten Sean taylor who would have just made this team special next to Reed. Meriwheater would be the versatile saftey / special teams player
Return: Devin Hester , Roscoe Parrish , Santana Moss
Every team needs an X factor and we all know Hurricane Hester is.
Kicker : Todd Seivers
Get off your couch we need a kicker, or we can just wait for Matt Bosher.
Punter : Jeff Feagles
You have been playing since Knute Rockne come on out old man.
Coach; Butch Davis
Assistant head coach : Jimmy Johnson
O- coordinator : Rob Chudzinski
Qb Coach : Larry Coker
D- coordinator : Randy Shanon
This team would go 15-1 and win the super bowl, too bad it's only a dream. The salary cap would be astranomical , however if you want to see this team they are playing on a XBOX near you.
